In support of joint Canadian clients including the University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, Concordia University and the Royal Military College, Vertere and ChemWatch NA are participating in CAUBO 2009 in Ottawa, ON.
ChemWatchNA will sponsor the pre-conference seminar on Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Saturday June 13. This all-day seminar will focus on the case for modified policies and procedures to support the complex requirements of university EH&S. ChemWatch provides the world’s largest collection of Material Safety Data Sheets and extensive chemical information in support of emergency response and worker safety.
Vertere will exhibit the Enterprise version of the Vertere Inventory Manager at Booth 228 during the CAUBO 2009 Exhibition hours on Monday and Tuesday, June 15 and 16. Vertere’s web-based application helps client facilities control chemical, biological, and equipment inventory. Visitors will see how the Vertere application and the ChemWatch Chemicals Database work together to support regulatory compliance, reduce operating costs, and improve worker and student safety. Visitors may also learn about the Inventory Manager’s use as a capital equipment management tool for financial reporting, grant and fund management, and depreciation.
